It is not an over exaggeration to say that Jessica Nazarali is dominating at business. Her hunger for professional success is driven by her sheer determination and fueled by her pure plant-based diet. I think you are going to love getting to know Jessica, as my V&M guest, this week. She is the founder of the highly successful a business dedicated to helping online coaching business owners and much much more. 


What role did health and wellness play in your journey to becoming a highly successful business woman?

My first businesses were an online healthy food shop, (which we still run today) as well as a health and wellness blog.

If it wasn’t for these two business I wouldn’t have discovered coaching or online education so I’m incredibly grateful for deciding to start these projects as they lead me to where I am today.

I also don’t think I would have been able to keep up with the demands of two businesses and working full-time if I wasn’t healthy!


How would you describe your approach to food and wellness?

I’m closest to vegan in my food choices but I do eat honey (so technically NOT vegan). I grew up vegetarian and made the switch to be vegan when I was 21 and have ate that way for the most part since. At home I’m also gluten free but if I’m eating out I’m more relaxed about that.

What are your non-negotiables when it comes to your own health?

I take vitamins everyday and start the day off with a superfood smoothie. We eat mostly organic at home.

Who is in your own Wellness Tribe?

I have an amazing naturopath who practices evidence based complementary medicine – Mark Hinchey. My parents are also really into health and wellness so I have learnt a lot from them, along with my husband who is always researching the latest trends.


Why is it important to you to surround yourself with others with similar lifestyles and wellness goals?

Most of my friends are health focused but not all of them are vegetarian or vegan. I think it’s important to do whats right for you and I don’t have any judgements towards those whose eating habits are different. We all have the common goal of wanting to be healthy and be in the best shape we can be in, the means of how we achieve that just might be slightly different :)

What are your top tips for sticking to your own health goals when you are busy with work or traveling?

Vitamins, prepping food in advance and researching healthy places near you!

I love the authors of Skinny Bitch, Rory Freedman & Kim Barnouin.

Are there any books, films or online resources that changed the way you look at health and wellness forever?

Skinny Bitch, Food Matters & I Quit Sugar.


What do you think are the new big trends for the health and wellness industry?

The more local the food the better. In the US many restaurants were only serving food that had been grown in a 50 mile radius…I see that catching on in Australia and other parts of the world too.
