I recently introduced you to the very fabulous Lee Holmes with an interview here after her big win at the Health Blog Awards. Well… Lee has some more exciting news… She has just launched her second book, this time an ebook, offering tips, trick and fuss free recipes to get your kids eating healthfully. I know that sounds like a tall ask but “Lee is all over it”! The ebook, Supercharged Food for Kids, is a cracker.

Supercharged Food for Kids features 90 recipes and meal solutions that not only taste delicious, but deliver the nutrients needed to help kids sustain energy levels, keep their mood up, concentrate and perform at their best.

Lee is a wholefoods chef and author of Supercharged Food – Eat your way to good health (Murdoch Books). As a former English teacher a lot of her life has been spent in the classroom helping kids grow academically. Now she wants to combine her teaching knowledge with her health coaching knowledge. The latest mission is to change the way kids eat so that we can build stronger, healthier and brighter kids.

The books is really comprehensive and features sections on buying organic, cooking for intolerances/allergies, reducing sugar, how to introduce healthier choices, important nutrients for children, making creative lunch boxes, as well as a huge list of recipes for every meal or occasion. The book also features a really handy shopping list. 

The recipes are clearly marked with wheat free, dairy free, gluten free, sugar free, vegetarian and nut free to cater for all dietary requirements.
