With the foggy effects of jet-lag still impairing my brain I thought I would quickly share my dairy free French Toast recipe… while I am still fresh off the plane from Paris. I hope you can make some time to sit back, relax and enjoy this tasty treat over the weekend.
Dairy Free French Toast

Ingredients
- (serves 2)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 free range organic eggs
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 4 thick cut slices of sourdough bread
- 1 cup of chopped fruit of your choice
- 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Using an egg whisk, beat the almond milk and eggs together thoroughly, in a medium sized bowl.
- Heat the coconut oil in a large frypan over a medium heat.
- One at a time, dip the slices of bread into the eggs and almond milk mix, allowing it to soak into the bread.
- Lay the battered slices of bread into the hot pan and cook on both sides until golden brown and slightly crunchy.
- Top with your chopped fruit of choice and drizzle with a small amount of high quality organic Maple Syrup.
