Happy Christmas everyone.James and I spent Christmas Day this year at my aunt and uncle’s house in Bernie, Tasmania. We all chipped in making a very late lunch just in time for the sunshine.My sister Annabelle whipped up vegetarian rice paper rolls while enjoying a couple of cold ones. My Mum made a crispy garden salad.I made some of my veggie and haloumi kebabs which my uncle David cooked on the BBQ. My auntie Bev served up potatoes freshly dug up from my Granddad’s garden.We had stunning Tasmanian produce on the table including King Island cheddar cheese and cherries.Dessert took place some hours later with Grandma’s pavlova, trifle and Bev’s summer pudding topping the list.
