I believe in education and of taking full control of your own health and wellbeing through learning. There are so many amazing inspirational stories out their about people with chronic disease dramatically improving their quality of life through nutritional education. In the case of Toronto based nutritionista, Meghan Telpner, she has remained completely symptom free from the debilitating Crohn’s disease after getting educated and switching to a diet comprising of whole, unprocessed foods in combination with meditation, yoga, acupuncture and rest.
Meghan Telpner has tuned her remarkable story of healing into a wonderful resource offering workshops in her Toronto (Canada) kitchen and online classes for students from all over the world. Meghan is this week launching her latest and greatest online course called Foods For Healing. The Veggies and Me posse have been offered a special 10% discount on enrollment to this course with use of the unique coupon code “veggiesandme”.
I am also running an exciting giveaway to mark the launch of this latest course. Simply share a breif personal story of “Healing Through Food” in the comments below, before Sunday November 11th, to go into the running to win free enrollment to Foods For Healing. The most inspirational story will win. The lucky student will be announced on November 12th.

Awesome, just awesome! I’m really looking forward to hearing how you get on with the plant based nutrition course Megan. It was lovely to meet you this weekend 🙂
Great to meet you too Kirsty. Make sure you enter this comp to win the online course from Meghan Telpener.
I’m a current nutrition & dietetics/exercise science student at university. I am super passionate about a healthy lifestyle but in my own life follow more of a holistic nutrition route, than the mainstream nutrition taught at university, but I hope to one day change this when I have my degree!
My favourite healing food would have to be sauerkraut. I am all about taking care of my digestive system with good bacteria!
Great tip Cheyenne. I really need to include sauerkraut in my diet 🙂
While I don’t have a healing story for my Crohn’s disease, I did have post-viral fatigue awhile ago, and for some reason, bananas were my super-food. Any time I had a fatigue-crash, a banana helped me get better quicker.
Thanks Mary. They really are one of natures best snack foods!
Good luck with the course Megan! I loved meeting you the other day and I am so glad to be reading your blog! I will be definitely using this site ans a resource for healthier eating. Everything looks so lovely!
Thank you Anna for the kind words. Looking forward to catching up soon. Xox
Congratulations Cheyenne. You are the winner of the giveaway. Meghan will be in touch soon with the details.
