This week I made a little time lapse video to demonstrate just how easy it is to make your own Vegetable Stock. It can be made from those veggie scraps which pile up each week. Instead of chucking them in the compost or in the bin, collect them up in a bag in the freezer, and when the bag is full whip up a batch of stock. Trust me… if you read the label on most commercial stocks you will be horrified. They are full of artificial colours, flavours, E numbers and low grade oils as well as salt. If you are using stock in your family meals it is much better to make it yourself to avoid the junk and the salt.
